First of all I would like to say that I really enjoyed watching the video, it is very clear and funny. The similarities that I could find between the myth and the video are that Pygmalion hated woman and he thought that no woman was perfect for him, so he built a statue of the perfect woman for him. One of the diferences between the myth and the video are that in the myth Pygmalion went to Aphrodite altar to ask her to give him a wife that looks just like Galatea(his statue), but Aphrodite didn't do it. After that she went to Pygmalion's home to look at Galatea, and as she saw that Galatea resembled herself she turned her to life. In the video Pygmalion thinks that something is missing in her statue, that the statue lacks life, and then Aphrodite appears and brings the statue into life. Both in the video and in the myth Pygmalion and Galatea live happily ever after... Grisell de Landeta
